Beaver Girl

We got Maren her first Beaver Cheerleader outfit this weekend and she hasn't taken it off (unless for sleep or school) since;) Watch her new moves;)

FairyPrincessButterfly/Witch/Cow?!?!

OK, so we spent a chunk of money on Maren's costume this year...(she did put it on for the fall festival at my school, which is what this picure is from) We ordered it online and it came and she was OOOhhh so excited...Well the week before Halloween, she got a little barbie from Grandma Mac that was a witch...She LOVED it!!! Well, no longer was the FairyPrincessButterfly even in the running...On Halloween we pulled out the witch costume from last year and she loved it! All we needed was a bigger turtleneck to go underneath. Maybe we'll be the butterfly thing next year?

Luke didn't really love his costume, but he got into the spirit of things and put it on for us. We were out for about an hour and the kids had a great time!

Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa Mac mommy and daddy got out for the weekend too! We had a great time at the beaver game and loved our chance to go out to breakfast, visit Claud's (beavers know what I am talking about) and enjoy the pre-game atmosphere!

The Coast

We went to the coast this weekend and couldn't have asked for better weather. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! It reminded us of how much we missed the Oregon Coast and we are already looking forward to next spring. It was Luke's first view of the ocean (not that he fully appreciated it, he mostly just liked wrapping the seaweed around his head) and Maren's first time in way too long.

On Friday, I took Maren down to the Fall Festival at my school, she was so excited to organize all of her candy when we got home! She has been carrying it around ever since...

Maren and Luke at Maren's school field trip to the pumpkin patch on Friday morning. Luckily I brought along a couple of neighbor girls to contain Luke while I spent the morning with Maren. But by the end of the trip, all of our arms were aching and we had to resort to the wagon. These girls were Saints though!!!

Maren's Picture day

So I am obviously not a photographer, but I stole a little of her thunder when I took these pictures as she was taking hers....My cheap camera doesn't do it justice! Soon, we'll have the real thing;)

Apple Tasting

We had a day of culture! First we headed to SE Portland for some apple tasting, then went downtown to have lunch at Old Town Pizza. Maren saw some things on the streets of old town that she'd never seen before (I am not sure I'd seen this before either and since this is a family friendly blog I am not going to go into detail except that there was an exchange of money and no illegal substances)....Anyway, we had a great time:)
Also, Luke and his new skill...He can color;)

Pumpkin Patch

It was a perfect fall day today so we took the opportunity to go to the pumpkin patch. This pumpkin patch was amazing...there was a hay maze, bouncy houses, baby animals, pony rides etc. We could have stayed all day....except it was football Saturday and daddy had a different agenda in mind.

Here is Luke in his Halloween costume...I can't imagine why he doesn't like it (What was I thinking!!!)

Feeling Better:)

Luke is doing so much better! In fact, now that he is out of that little phase I think he has grown up about a months worth in just a few days! He can now point to his nose, mouth, eyes and head;)

Our pumpkin was finally ready to pick this weekend...I must say it turned out pretty good!
