Claire 5 Months!

Such a big girl!  She is blowing bubbles, sitting up (for 30 seconds or so) and LOVES her brother and sister.  Maren is amazing with her and she lights up the second she is in the room.  She loves playing with her toys now and still trys to put everything in her mouth.  She did pull Luke's hair the other day though....My words were, "Sorry big brother, but it's all karma..."

"What's that?"  

"It means you kinda deserve it!"

Christmas 2011

Waiting patiently for mom to get the camera and everything ready!  The excitement this year was so contagious!  These kids were giddy with it when they finally got out of bed...In fact, Maren got up a few times during the night and came into our room just to peek in....She was even afraid to go to the bathroom in her bathroom at the top of the stairs just in case Santa would see her and not stop at our house.  Of course he did and these kids had a great Christmas:)

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was a busy day for us!  After saying goodbye to Uncle Ben and Aunt Amber, Owen and Kaiya, we went to church at 3:00 then back to the house for christmas cooking making/decorating and letters all for Santa.  Along with following Santa on Norad, the kids were more than ready to head to bed as soon as they could so Santa wouldn't skip our house because the kids were awake;)  It was the easiest nighttime routine of the year!!

The Polar Express

On Sunday we went over to Hood River for the Polar Express train ride.  Oh my...I didn't realize until we were there what an effect it would have on the kids!!  they have loved the movie and to be honest I wasn't sure what Maren was thinking these days as far as Santa goes....She does go to public school...  So on the way home, when the kids were ringing their bells ALL THE WAY HOME, and saying "I hear it!!!  I hear it!!   Do you???"  YES WE HEAR IT!!!!

 Hot Chocolate!!!  Luke "This is the same song from the movie!  Mom, are we really going to the north pole?"  Me: "yup bud, we are going to pick up Santa!"  Luke: "Wow.  It's going to be really cold when we get there.."  For the next few moments Luke was deep in thought.....All I can say is that it was a Magical christmas moment!!!

This was such a fun adventure!  We had a great time and it was totally worth the drive.  It will be a memory the big kids will remember forever:)
