Memorial Weekend

We started out our long weekend on Thursday with a trip with Grandpa and Grandma MacDonald on the MacKenzie River. What a beautiful spot!

We got to play golf at Tokatee while Grandma watched the kids, here is Brian giving me a few lessons the night before.

On the deck of the cabin.

After a couple of smores...Of COURSE she was smiling!

On to GP for the infamous boatnik parade. Maren and cousin Lauren were so cute. Both cried...Like real sobs when they had to leave each other on Monday afternoon.

These two couldn't care less about one another right now...but just wait, these cousins will be best buds in about a year:)

Maren the little fish. She wouldn't take the wings off, but by the end of the weekend was practically diving off the edge...(only to Grandpa though).

Luke has no fear...Will jump off, fall off, or just walk in the general direction of the pool and somehow make it in.

Parade shot. The kids got so many Dutch Bros smoothies (for those of you that don't know, Grants Pass is the Dutch Bros Capital and we happened to be sitting right in front of the original restaurant) and candy that they were in absolute sugar heaven by the end of the 10:00am parade.

Exhausted. Both kids went to bed this way. This is luke while we were still trying to get his sheets on....He just couldn't wait.
