What a weekend we've had!!! Today was the grand finale though and she was so excited about her new bike. As you can see from the pictures she was thrilled, and while we still haven't mastered it yet (it's a little tricky, if you pedal backwards with one foot, it puts the brakes on!!!;>) we are working on it. Luckily it was a beautiful day (around 60 degrees and sunny) so we had lots of time to practice. We had plans to go to the zoo today but after spending almost an hour waiting to get halfway up to the parking lot, we realized that half of portland
must have had the same idea. We went to build a bear instead, and took home "Sadie", Maren's new best friend. We capped off Maren's birthday with a dinner at Safari Sam's. I think Brian might be sore tomorrow because of all the climbing and tight spaces:)
