Brian's Measurement System

Classy I know....This is on our front porch...We figure one can is five inches. Brian just went out to put another one on top. They are full by the way, hopefully they won't explode and just give us a big mess.

Snow, Snow and more Snow!!!

We are back on board. Made it to the mall this morning and got a new camera charger!! Here are some pictures from today. We are at about 5 inches of snow right now and "they say..." that the bulk of moisture hasn't even hit us yet....We'll see! Maren was out with the girls (Our neighbors) and dad for about two hours and then enjoyed some hot chocolate and gingerbread house making...Busy day!!

Luke the Garbage Man

Well, sadly I have no pictures to post. Luke has a new skill though;) At first, it was great. If there was a scrap of paper on the floor, Luke would quickly pick it up, run to the garbage, throw it in, close the door and then clap for himself like crazy. So cute!! Now however, it has turned into a bit of a nuisance. If we leave anything on the floor and Luke stumbles upon it, it is deemed "Garbage". Sadly, this is how we think we've lost our camera's battery charger. Upon many other things of course....the little cap to make the hairspray work, my blush brush (Yup, the expensive MAC one), and many of Maren's treasures.

Arctic Blast 2008

While we laughed at the news this morning calling the 3 inches we got this morning an "Arctic Blast", we had no idea that they would be right....Six hours later it really is a blizzard out there!! After spending 30 minutes bundling up, we were only able to play for a little while because at 24 degrees and a very cold wind, hot chocolate sounded much better than braving the cold on our homemade sled:)

Tree hunting

All Luke wanted was the camera...He has a major infatuation with anything relating to technology (Phones, computers, cameras, remotes...etc)

Umm...Who Let Maren carry the saw!!

Luke guarding the tree..

Maren and Santa. So sweet. She was so excited to see him again. She told me later that he must be really tired because he has a lot of jobs. (We just saw him at Washington Square and Bridgeport). She has told them all the same thing though...She wants a Princess...(Perfect, she's got about twenty upstairs that I can clean up!)
