The Polar Express

On Sunday we went over to Hood River for the Polar Express train ride.  Oh my...I didn't realize until we were there what an effect it would have on the kids!!  they have loved the movie and to be honest I wasn't sure what Maren was thinking these days as far as Santa goes....She does go to public school...  So on the way home, when the kids were ringing their bells ALL THE WAY HOME, and saying "I hear it!!!  I hear it!!   Do you???"  YES WE HEAR IT!!!!
The Scary Hobo...He tried to steal Claire!!!
 Stamping our tickets
 Santa's Elves

Hot Chocolate!!!  Luke "This is the same song from the movie!  Mom, are we really going to the north pole?"  Me: "yup bud, we are going to pick up Santa!"  Luke: "Wow.  It's going to be really cold when we get there.."  For the next few moments Luke was deep in thought.....All I can say is that it was a Magical christmas moment!!!

 Luke wants Beyblades!!

 Maren wants a pet

Claire is just happy to be on such a fun jumpy ride!
This was such a fun adventure!  We had a great time and it was totally worth the drive.  It will be a memory the big kids will remember forever:)

Christmas Tree

Brian's parents were here this weekend helping us with many things:)  Doug did our Christmas lights on Saturday and on Friday they helped cut down and then put up our Christmas tree.  So thankful for family.
Linda texting even up the hill:)

Is that a saw Luke is holding....I think I have a picture of this SAME THING from last year too!!!
 Maren and Grandpa Mac:)
No, Luke didn't cut it down...But he sure did want to.
