Summer

 Although we haven't gone anywhere this summer (we are all itching to get away in a couple of weeks:)), we have had many adventures at home.  Here are a couple of pics from my phone:)

Our Week

I got a little cocky last week when I said I was doing such a great job with pictures!!  Not quite as good as I thought about getting the camera out...But still, here are a couple!

We are starting to have quite a bit more awake time nowadays.  Here is one from this morning when she was even happier than usual...(She was smiling approx. 15 seconds before this picture was taken)

Three Babies

When I look at these pictures I see the individuals rather than "Maren looks like Claire" I hear from quite a few people that the three look alike, but I am still not seeing it quite as much.  Claire has such different coloring than the other two.   What do you think?

Luke's Day

Luke's actual birthday was on Saturday and Grandma and Grandpa were still here to help celebrate!  We started our day with presents, then went to lunch, played 9 holes at the Children's Course, and then ended the day with mexican food and a spanish version of Happy Birthday.  

Luke at four years old is so much fun.  He is always ready to entertain with a song/poem/joke/or story.  Usually he has a guitar in hand while performing (although after his birthday he now is ready with a karaoke machine as well).  He loves to make people laugh:)  Luke is still constantly on the go and ready for anything!  He will let you know quickly though if something isn't just how he planned it should be.  He is very methodical;)  Usually he lets us know if something isn't just right with a well placed head butt, or maybe a punch in the gut (we are working on that).   This behavior is usually followed up with a "Mommy, you are pretty!" or maybe "I love you so much" he makes it very hard to stay upset for long.

Luke's 4th Birthday Party

On Friday Luke had a birthday party at Big Al's.  He was SO EXCITED all week for his party and it lived up to every expectation.  He had a blast!
