Joe's Birthday

Thanks so much to Mark and Kelly for hosting all 7 1/2 of us in Central Oregon last weekend! We had so much fun and we are already looking forward to when we can do it again! Happy Birthday Joe!

Making Dinner

What a great idea that was!!! Luke found "corn hair" in his book a few days later;)

Maren is Riding A Bike!!!

This is actually a week late, because now she is not only riding her bike, but she is standing up while riding, taking her hands off the handles and going faster than I would really like. I am amazed with her confidence and abilities. Actually, I am amazed with all things Maren right now. She is now reading level two readers almost fluently and I just couldn't be more proud of her....(I don't usually "gush" on blog posts, but this time I couldn't help it) Today, she rode her bike while I ran and we went about 3 miles. I think she'll sleep well tonight!

Fathers Day

For fathers day this year we pretty much did our usual. First, we had breakfast with my mom and dad, then we watched a bit of the US Open, and then we played a little golf ourselves.

First we hit a few balls on the range, then we were off to the miniature course. Maren loved it all, and Luke didn't think there were nearly enough obstacles on the course and had to create a few himself. Some were just about impossible to get into the hole!

Recital

This was our third recital at Sherwood Dance and every year I leave thinking...How do they get 100's of 3-10 year olds to do that! It is an amazing production and my tiny dancer was amazing too!! It is hard to believe that just a year ago this girl didn't want to do a solo:)

Good Bye Parties

Maren and Luke had their last day of school on Friday. We will miss their teachers so much! Luke's teacher cried when we left...She loved him so much!

Kids

I realized that it had been a while since I had posted some pictures of the kids. Here are a couple from our glimpse of sun that we saw on Saturday. We tried to take advantage of every minute, but on Friday I had a 17 hour day at school (picture this: 20 9 year old girls with the run of the school from 5:00 until 11:30) So...Needless to say, I was a little sleepy yesterday;) But we had fun!

All the kids on Memorial Weekend!
